The family of Eric Robinson is pleased to offer this outstanding collection of fine astronomical hardware. Eric Robinson was the president of The Catawba Valley Astronomy Club from 2003 until his death in July 2007. An active and serious observer, Eric accumulated many premium telescopes, eyepieces, and accessories.
Eric knew many astronomers from the area and he looked forward each year to attending Mid Atlantic Star Party, BoBfest at Gardner-Webb, and *Tri*Star* at GTCC. Many of you have seen and used some of the instruments listed in this sale. His passion for astronomy was recent, but Eric invested a great deal of time and energy in the craft. He could be counted on to assist with our groups and visitors at Lucile Miller Observatory and Astronomy Days. He believed that unused telescopes were lonely, so he brought them out often.
Many of Eric's astronomy items have already been sold. The unsold items are still available for purchase via email or telephone by members of astronomy organizations in the area. We are now making these items available for purchase by anyone.

We have researched the prices and believe that they represent realistic values for the items shown. Prices shown are the selling price. THIS IS NOT AN AUCTION. This sale is a great opportunity to obtain astronomy gear at reasonable prices.

You may purchase by telephone by calling Jeff Whisenant at 828-241-3280. Leave a message with your Name, Phone Number, and the Item Number you wish. Phone offers will have equal status as email offers. The earliest offer purchases the item.
We will attempt to keep the items for sale updated as much as possible. In the event more than one person wishes to purchase an item, THE EMAIL MESSAGE WITH THE EARLIEST TIME RECEIVED ON OUR SYSTEM will purchase the item.
If you are the purchaser of the item, we will notify you by e-mail and the item will be shown as sold in the listing.

Most of the items are used but are in very good to excellent condition. Known defects or problems are included in the item description.
The Robinson Family reserves the right to remove any item from this sale, to combine several items into one offering, or to re-price an item AS LONG AS NOBODY HAS MADE AN OFFER. Items with offers will be sold at the price shown.
